The results of optical, spectroscopic and luminescent properties of Tm~(3+)-doped NaLaGd(MoO_4)_2 and NaLa(MoO_4)_2 crystals are displayed. Based on the Judd-Ofelt theory, three intensity parameters were obtained. Gain cross-section for laser transition ~3F_4→~3H_6 of Tm~(3+)-ions was obtained.
