Appraisal of the current and future situation for telelearning in the field of standardization: some remarks based on experience gained from the project telelearning for standardization within the EU

摘要

In this paper we discuss conditions needed to build a telelearning platform for standardization within the European Union (EU). At the Department of Standardization and Technical Drawing we are currently working on such a platform (see http://ilias.unibw-hamburg.de/project/index_en.php). Although we wish to present this platform in latest form at the 2001 IEEE Conference, this paper gives an insight in its history.
