Appraisal of the current and future situation for telelearning in the field of standardization: some remarks based on experience gained from the project Telelearning for Standardization within the EU

In this paper we discuss conditions needed to build a telelearning platform for standardization within the European Union (EU). At the Department of Standardization and Technical Drawing we are currently working on such a platform (see http://ilias.unibw-hamburg.de/project/index en.php).
