Assessment of Dose Volume for Brachytherapy

to assess high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy interstitial implant quality and dose distribution uniformity using the three-dimensional (3D) dose volume analysis for 5 sets of source configurations, to calculate the dose nonuniformity ratio (DNR) and the uniformity index (UI), etc. for each set. This study supports that the DNR, UI aren't clear disparity for the different source activity. Better dose homogeneity for an implant can be obtained if the DNR is about 52%.
