Osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) lesions of the femo-ropatellar (FP) joint are routinely diagnosed by radiography, but lesions restricted to articular cartilage can be difficult to see. Ultrasonography (US) allows evaluation of cartilage and subchondral bone.
