摘要

The main objectives of this contribution are the investigation and detection of rotor asymmetries of both squirrel cage and slip-ring induction machines. Space phasor models due to rotor faults will be presented and discussed. Until now the Vienna Monitoring Method has been performed for squirrel cage machines only. This detection technique is based on the comparison of the torque values of two different machine models. There, it strictly avoids frequency analysis of the line currents. This contribution also deals with slip-ring induction machines and the accessory application of the Vienna Monitoring Method. For both machine types, measurement and simulation results will be presented and com-pared.
