摘要

Modulus of elasticity is one of the most important material properties to calculate stresses for a connector contact beam. The contact beam is usually applied in bending why it is important to use properties measured in that mode. For strip material bend strength and modulus of elasticity is effected by process history, like direction of rolling, residual stresses etc. Properties measured in bending are sensitive to the process history and can therefore also be used for process optimization.
