Eddy current testing (ECT) is one of the most popular nondestructive testing techniques for conducting materials inspection. ECT is often considered an old and mature technology. However the new industrial safety demands require substantial improvements both in flaw sensitivity and characterization ability. In order to meet the new goals, we developed MFES (Multi Frequency Excitation and Spectrogram) technique and an advanced ECT system.
