摘要

The cold model test is adopted to study the flow fieldof downshot flame furnace with swirling burners in this paper. Theflow field is measured with tri-hole probe. The ribbon method andfireworks tracer technology are adopted to find out the flow fielddistribution qualitatively. The results show that the momentumratio of arch air and side-wall air is not the most important factorwhich determines the flow field when swirling burners are adopted.The effect of swirling number of arch air on the flow field isnotable, and the jet will decline like normal swirling jet. Undergeneral swirling number; the momentum ratio of arch air andside-wall air should be large enough.
