SAR interferometry with differential mode can be utilized for detecting tiny changes in earth ground Surface. The phase change of Jers1 and Ers1 SAR interferometry, caused by surface changes, in the Middle Chiba, eastern Tokyo bay, Japan, was successfully detected. Jers1 and Ersl SAR data acquired during 1992 and 1998. The time gap between master and slave SAR data are set to 1 to 6 years and a advanced coregistration method was set up. Based on the SAR interferometry analysis, some phase changes caused by subsidence were revealed and the rapidly subsiding year is about 1994, 1995 and 1997, which may be caused by geologic structure movement or mankind activity. The subsidence is continuing even now.
