摘要

The application of new conceptual porous polymer electrolyte (PPE) to pores of positive and negative electrodes has been proposed. Electrochemical performance of the LiNi{sub}0.83Co{sub}0.17O{sub}2/C system cells with PPE was systematically investigated as the function of the amount of electrolyte. This system cell with the novel PPE showed superior discharge performance at 2C rate, though it contained smaller amounts of liquid electrolyte compared with that of existing liquid cell system. This technology will be capable for the application to the battery with high capacity, high energy density, and high safety required for electric vehicles.
