摘要

Glycine (Gly) is the smallest amino acid, which in aqueous medium around pH 6.0 exists in its zwitterionic form, with its two functional charged poles –000- and –NH3+. Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) studies of amino acids adsorbed on metal surfaces help to probe the nature of amino acid-metal interactions [1]. Here, Gly is an interesting molecule. SERS of adsorbed species depends not only on the adsorption geometry and the nanoparticles size, but also on the concentration of the adsorbed analyte [2].
