In the past ten years, great efforts have been made to well-controlled fabrication of the two-dimensional nanostructur for optimizing SERS effect from metal surfaces ~(1,2), Very recently, template synthesis method has attacted great interest~(3), because its ability to control both the diameter and sspect ratio of nanowire arrays. It inspires us to apply these arrays as new well-structured SERS substrates. Among these template synthesis methods, the anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) could be used as an optimize template for fabricating the mtal nanorod arrays.
