The aim of this scientific project is the development of a multivariate analysing tool to identify process instabilities in order to initiate appropriate counter measures. There is a demand for action especially in the field of hot forming processes, wehre classical methods cannot be applied, e.g. in the case of continuum mechanics used for controlling systems. In addition, hot forming processes show varying process runs in spite of identical settings caused by differing starting conditions depending on the individual workpiece properties (e.g. temperature, geometry). In order to achieve reproducible process runs the inaccuracies have to be identified and compensated during the process.
