THE PREVALENCE OF CRYPTOSPORIDIAL INFECTION IN MULTIFACTORIAL CAUSED DIARRHEA IN PIGS AT THE FARM BREEDING

The protozoan parasite Cryptosporidium parvum (Apicomplexa: Coccidia) are recognized as significiant pathogen in mammals and most infections hav been associated with acute transient disease, mainly in neonates, like piglets. Most frequent sign of theporcine cryptosporidiosis is diarrhea (1). Diarrhea in the farm breeding pigs is usually multifactoral problem caused by bacterial and other diarrheagenic agents and aim of our work is to examine prevalence of cryptosporidial infection in connection with bacterial agents which induce the clinical disease.
