Fusion technology development for ITER in JAERI

JAERI has been contributing to a variety of ITER technology R&D. The present paper overviews recent outomes from the JAERI-related ITER R&D of the superconducting coil, shield blanket, plasma facing component, heating and current drive, tritium and fusion neutronics. The outline of the R&D results is summarized in Table 1, which is attached at the end of this paper.
