Aerodynamic analysis of the tai lam tunnel

摘要

This paper presents the aerodynamic analysis of the ventilation system to satisfy pollution control for normal operation and smoke control for fire emergency. Descriptions are given for the type of ventilation system selected and its performance to meet project requirements of the Tai Lam Tunnel. Several of the unique aspects of this project relate to the restrictions of portal emissions and the conversion of NO{sub}x to No{sub}2 inside the tunnel.
