In this work, the results of a study of the effect of a fine dispersed filler as well as the drying conditions for obtaining composite materials on binder properties of a novel adhesive, UF-oligomers partially substituted by the ligninbased interpolymer complex, are presented. It is shown that the application of the filler, irrespective of its nature (organic or inorganic), implies an increase in the cohesion strength of the novel binder. the lowest value of the crucial concentration of wood flour, which corresponds to the maximum value of the cohesion strength of the binder, is connected with both its high specific surface and the presence of a significant number of reactive hydroxyl groups at the flour particle surface.
