In this paper, the reason for low silver recoveries in Gumuskoy 100~(th) Year Silver Plant is investigated based ont he mineraogical and cyanidation parameters. The low recovery in silver extraction is attributed some problems related to the structure of ores, operating parameters in cyanidation and crushing processes. The effect of leaching time, particle size, NaCN concentration, pulp density, temperature and oxidizing agent were investigated during the cyanidation tests. And also plant recovery was increased from 60 percent to 80 percent by using H_2O_2 during the cyanidation, by grinding ores under 53 micron and by choosing leaching time as a 24 hours.
