JSME v_BASE activities and some trouble-shooting case studies of rotating machinery

摘要

This paper outlines the activities of JSME Vibration Database (v_BASE) Committee that has created and updates its database based on the vibration troubleshooting case studies of actual machinery in service collected periodically during the 21 years since 1991. The Committee aims solely to better the design engineering and related engineering science for excellent anti-vibration performance of a wide variety of machinery by disseminating newly collected case studies every year and promoting sharing the database among industries and academia. This paper also describes and discusses some instructive vibration troubleshooting case studies of rotating machinery selected from the latest database.
