Simple and cost-effective method of determining microbial soil respiration by digital respirometry

We have developed a new and practical method for determining soil respiration using digital manometers particularly for obtaining reliable data at low costs and simple handling. The method was validated by comparative studies with traditional methodsand standardized. Also biodegradability (fertilizers), toxicity (pesticides), bio-mass and all related microbial activity testing can be performed with this method.
