Paul Wurth has more than fifty years of experiencewith hot stove technology especially with the externalcombustion chamber type. The PW design with anoptimized refractory concept ensures minimal thermaland mechanical stress in refractory and mechanicalparts which leads to stove life times of more than 30years.Future concepts will adopt operation conditions of BFtechnologywith reduced CO_2-Emissions.Paul Wurth supplies the full range of hot stoveequipment including stove valves, instrumentationand the mathematical models for automationsystems.
