Global stability in some population models

摘要

We study the global stability of the difference equations x_(n+1) = (ax_n + bx_(n-1)e~(-x_(n-1)))e~(-x_n), n = 0, 1, … and y_(n+1) = (αy_n + βy_(n-1))e~(-y_n), n = 0, 1, … which are interesting in their own right, but which may also be viewed as describing some population models.
