In this paper, we use electric-spindle and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) made by Japanese Matsushita Electric works to accomplish dynamic measurement of cylindrical grinding and closed loop feedback control. By controlling liner motor to drive slider to implement micromovement, we can fulfil the high-speed and precision cylindrical grinding. In the meantime, we set up the mathematical model of least squares evaluation. Using this model, we can decrease the circularity error of workpiece, therefore improve the workpiece machining accuracy. We also use ABB AC drives to drive electric-spindle in order to have the different rotation velocity, thus the grinding wheel installed in the spindle have different rotation one. Finally we can fulfil the precision cylindrical grinding.
