摘要

The bases of computation modelling of a triad known in tribology as "interaction - damage - friction surfaces destruction" friction units on an example of journal bearings are stated in the paper. There are many possible modes of friction (from hydrodynamic up to dry) and occurrence of various kinds of damages, as wel las fatigue from a volumetric field of stresses in friction units. The algorithms of finite elements mehtod (FEM) are developed for the analysis of friction surfaces itneraction conditions and solving the followng takss: flow of liquid in a clearance; contact interaction of surfaces with regard to non-linear properties "of the third body"; distribution of temperatures and stresses.
