摘要

Wavepiercing, a kind of popular ship for its excellent seakeeping capability at high speed, also has some shortcoming exposed in the use of it, such as unseaworthness at low velocity, serious motion response in beam or oblique short-crested seas, quite sensitivity with large load changing etc. This paper takes out a new design for wavepiercing of asymmetric demi-hull with counteracting wave bow foil and main hydrofoils between side hull. Theoretical calculation proves that this concept can improve the problem above successfully. Experimental work is organizing right now to continue its performance research and design optimization.
