Solving Stochastic Transportation Problems by Genetic Algorithms

摘要

This paper discusses stochastic transportation problems. First, the problems are modeled using dependent-chance programming method. In order to solve the dependent-chance programming models, a stochastic simulation-based genetic algorithm is designed, and a numerical example is given to illustrate the efficientness of the genetic algorithm.
