Background/Objectives. A contaminated site in New Jersey was purchased for redevelopment, necessitating an accelerated characterization and remediation of large, multi-acre chlorinated solvent source zones prior to new construction. An investigation and remediation timeframe of 3.5 years was defined to meet the redevelopment schedule. Activities were to be conducted in compliance with New Jersey requirements for site remediation, and to be overseen by a NJ Licensed Site Remediation Professional.
