摘要

Background/Objectives. A Helicopter Electromagnetic and Magnetic (HEM) Survey was performed at the Former Nebraska Ordnance Plant to map the electrical conductivity in the vicinity of the existing chlorinated and explosive groundwater plumes and to determine if there is a correlation between electrical conductivity and subsurface geologic features. The interpretation was conducted to determine if the HEM technology could be employed as an investigative tool for determining subsurface stratigraphy and aquifer hydraulic properties.
