摘要

A corrective measures study (CMS) was completed for areas of concern (AOCs) that had the potential of discharge to a nearby surface water body. The CMS included a holistic approach to select remedial strategies to minimize and/or eliminate the potential pathways from a multi-component DNAPL source. Remedy selection incorporated the principles of the 14 Compartment Model (14CM) discussed in A Guide for Selecting Remedies for Subsurface Releases of Chlorinated Solvents (Sale and Newell, 2011). This tool aided to develop a priori evaluations of the benefits of each of the remedial measures.
