摘要

A powerful graphics programming interface OpenGL is introduced in this paper, and many kinds of methods to realize 3D display are introduced. What's more, the general steps of producing 3D prototypes' vision by OpenGL is presented, i.e., mathematics description, space location, color and lighting, rasterization. At the same time, some related technical notes of each concrete realizing step are pointed out. In rapid prototyping software, the vitality and competitive capability of rapid prototyping merchandise are enhanced, and the visual capability is improved before the finish of prototypes' manufacturing with producing 3D true color illuminating vision by OpenGL.
