A significant challenge facing the advancement of organic thermoelectric (TE) materials is developing air-stable, high performance n-type materials. Despite the progress that p-type organic TE materials have experienced in the last few years, their n-type counterparts are lagging behind in performance due to their instability and/or difficulty of the doping process and/or unamenability for solution processing.
