摘要

The extraordinary electronic, thermal and mechanical properties of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) make them deeply interesting, particularly in order to explore the nanoscale physics. They are also very promising for miscellaneous future applications. As their electronic properties are strongly dependent on their atomic structure, it is absolutely required to finely control their growth process to be able to take advantage of their versatile properties.
