Advances in construction of near-isogenic lines resistant to Puccinia striiformis west

In the pathosystem of wheat stripe rust caused by Puccinia striiformis West., the only way to detect virulence gene(s) is using host resistance gene(s). Because the constitution of resistance gene(s) and interaction with each other in differential sets were not clear, the pathogen virulence gene(s) was difficult to be obtained. Up to now, no sets of single near-isogenic lines (NILs) has been developed yet all over the world. Race specialization and host resistance analysis could be carried out at gene level by using NILs differentials with international Yr genes.
