A series of inexpensive experiments were performed on a 3-D shaking table and small-scale models of important technologic equipment of NPP. A physical similarity of real equipment and its models was evaluated on a base of the factors of similarity through comparison of natural frequencies. The sine peak values of accelerations were similar to the real earthquake "El Centro, 1940". Analysis of experimental data which was based on the first two frequencies and using the approaches of theory of similarity allowed to evaluate seismostability and reliability of real equipment, and to recommend the necessary improvements concerning the pipe configurations, support arrangements, etc.
