Unique ShortWatch electrical safety technology provides the only known means to detect mechanical damage such as fraying in electrical wiring before an electrical fault occurs. The technology utilizes electrically conductive polymer strip distributed in the wire insulation to protect against fire/shock hazards in high-risk applications such as nuclear, aerospace and oil/gas.
