The effect of temperature on the reversible and irreversible capacities of disordered carbons derived from polymethacryonitrile (PMAN) and divinylbenzene (DVB) copolymers was studied in I M LiPF{sub}6/ethylene carbonate (EC)-dimethyl carbonate(DMC) (1:1 v/v) solution by galvanostatic cycling. The kinetics of passive-film formation were examined by compleximpedance spectroscopy. Temperatures of 5°, 21°, and 35°C were used in the study.
