Nonlinear stabilization of hunting motion by a bifurcation control

Hunting motion of wheelset is characterized by nonlinear influence, thus this range can only be treated adequately with nonlinear method. So, we perform nonlinear analysis, and propose a nonlinear control method for the global stabilization of the hunting motion. Furthermore, we perform experiment using simple apparatus, and confirm the validity of the theoretically proposed stabilization method.
