摘要

In this paper, the buckling of a simply supported beam subjected to axial force is stabilized in a contactless manner by the attractive force of electromagnetic actuators controlled by feedback signal from displacement sensor. It is theoretically clarified that stiffness of beam is increased by electromagnetic force, and the bifurcation point is shifted. The experimental results are shown to stabilize the beam in buckling state by the theoretically proposed method.
