High Voltage Operated 5.2' Full Color Field Emission Display Display Devices with a Focus Electrode

摘要

High voltage operated 5.2" FEDs with focus electrodes are developed to show excellent focusing characteristics. The optimum beam focusing and spacer layout are confirmed by experiments and simulations. A luminance in excess of 400 cd/m~2 is achieved at an anode voltage of 5,000V. A full color image is successfully demonstrated.
