Absolute electron capture cross sections of Kr~+ with Ar

摘要

Absolute differential and toal cross sections for single electron capture were measured for Kr~+ ions on Ar in the energy range of 0.3 to 5.0 keV. The laboratory angular scan for the distributions ranged from-4.0 to 4.0 degrees. The absolute total cross sction shows an oscillatory behavior. The total cross section is compared with other available measurements and with a smiempirical model. The results are in good agreement with previous measurements and the semiempirical model.
