Steady-States of Empirical Models

摘要

This paper considers the steady-state characterization of empirical models, to aid in the selection of "reasonable" model structures. Three empirical distillation column models proposed by different authors are considered, and detailed analyses of their steady-state behavior are presented. These examples illustrate some useful relationships between model structure, parameters, and steady-state behavior.
