Hydrocarbon speciation of the exhaust gas from a micron gas turbinejetenginehasbeen investigated. A FTIR emission measurement system was used for measuring up to 51 pollutants including CO, CO_2, NOx and 38 differenthydrocarboncompounds.The fuel used was Al jet fuel. The test was conducted at five different throttle positions: 18%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%. Fourteen hydrocarbonemissionswith significantconcentrationsarereported. This paper provides an approach for an inexpensive, portable and reasonably accurate method for hydrocarbon speciation measurements of gas turbine engines.
