摘要

The essay investigates the well known saying "He that would please all and himself, too, undertakes what he cannot do". The study is done with the use of a mathematical model applying linear systems theory for the interpretation of socialbehaviour. The basic assumption is that an unconscious relationship exists between a prime unit, who is the giver, and with each one of the secondary units, several recipients. The unconscious relationship is called attitude. The essay reflects theintention of the United States, namely, to bring help to the world wherever there is a request-and damaging themselves.
