This paper considers the stability radius problem of control systems whose coefficients of the denominator and the numerator polynomials are affine in a Holder p-norm-bounded uncertain vector δ. It is shown that the stability radius of theclosed-loop system can be characterized in terms of the eigenvalues of two sets of frequency independent matrices if the nominal plant is stabilized by the controller. The involved frequency independent matrices can be factorized asH{sup}-1{sub}βH{sub}γ, where both H{sub}β and H{sub}γ are Hurwitz-like.
