Deregulation's Role in Creating a New Class of Energy Power Quality Monitoring Equipment

Deregulation is having widespread impact on the products and services offered in the energy marketplace. The impact extends beyond the choice of the electricity supplier to include the breadth of energy services, monitoring and control equipment being offered. Although it started as a matter of simply allowing choice (i.e. competition), deregulation will become the catalyst for an increasing number of businesses to become actively involved in the monitoring, management, and control of their energy costs.
