Wireless Resource Allocation Considering Value of Frequency for Multi-Band Mobile Communication Systems

Now we face the problem of a scarce bandwidth resource since we have nearly exhausted useful low frequency resources because of explosive growth of cellular phones. In order to provide wide coverage and connectivity among people, we introduce the "Value of frequency" and propose wireless resource allocation scheme based on the value of frequency for the multi-band mobile communication system, which can support both high data rate services and wide service coverage using frequency resources. The simulation of the multi-band mobile communication system demonstrates effectiveness of our wireless allocation scheme. It is shown that both the degree of dissatisfaction and the blocking probability decrease for some system parameters while assessing the degree of dissatisfaction.
