PURPOSE: A resource allocation directing/detecting method in a wireless mobile communications system and a system thereof are provided to direct resource allocation with small overhead in the transmission of data burst through a plurality of mini frames.;CONSTITUTION: An MS(Mobile Station) decodes an MAP(Media Access Plan) received from BS(Base Station)(1102). It is determined whether a bit value included into the decoded MAP is a bit value corresponding to Lm={1,1}(1104). The MS detects resource allocation information included into the MAP(1106). The MS decodes data burst received through one mini frame(1108). The MS detects L and m values from the bit value(1110). The MS detects the resource allocation information of the MAP(1112).
