Methodology for Measuring Requirements' Impact on Software Size

Accurate estimation of the size of the software needed to implement a set of requirements allows for more efficient planning. Preliminary results at Raytheon System Canada Ltd. indicate that objective analysis of requirements can increase the precision of software size forecasts. This paper defines a methodology for measuring the impact of requirements on software size.
