SIMULTANEOUS DETERMINATION OF AVERAGE MOLAR MASSES, MOLAR MASS DISTRIBUTION AND PLASTICIZERS CONCENTRATION OF POLYVINYL CHLORIDE BY GPC-GC

摘要

Determination of average molar masses and molar mass distribution of polymer and qualitative and quantitative determination of additives are both indispensable to evaluate the characteristics of polymer material or product. In this report, GPC-GC(gel permeation chromatography - gas chromatography) method is proposed to carry out these determinations simultaneously. In this method , after the determination of average molar masses and molar mass distribution by ordinary GPC, the effluent contains additives is introduced to PTV(programmable temperature vaporizer) of GC and analysis is done successively.
